To ensure a high quality of the contributions, all papers will go through a selection process with at least three reviewers per submission.

Submission

Submissions should satisfy the following conditions:

  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Keywords (at least 3)
  • 10 to 60-word author(s) bio
  • 60 to 120-word abstract
  • 500 to 750-word précis of the proposed paper
  • Additional pages may be added for references

Authors of accepted abstracts have the opportunity to contribute a full paper.

General conditions

  • At least, one author must register for the Barcelona Fiddle Congress prior to the author registration deadline.
  • Papers with no registered author on the author registration deadline will be removed from the conference programme and will not appear in the proceedings
  • During the online submission process you will be asked to specify whether you prefer to present your paper in a lecture or poster session. Highly detailed papers are better suited to poster sessions, which permit greater interaction between author and audience. The convention committee reserves the right to reassign papers to any session, lecture or poster.
  • The languages of the workshop are Catalan, Spanish or English.
  • There is no limit on the number of abstracts that may be submitted by a single researcher/author.
  • Abstracts do not need to be anonymized for blind review.
  • After the workshop, the abstracts and full papers will be published online.

Please, submit your paper in camera-ready PDF format according to one of the following templates (available soon). Abstracts will be sent in PDF format to [email protected].

Important dates

  • Deadline for abstract submission: September 20, 2013
  • Notification of  acceptance: October 4, 2013
  • Deadline for final manuscripts submission: October 11, 2013
  • Registration is open from September 5 to November 15.
  • Congress: November 15-17, 2013
